Nina Kochhar, the other director of the company, is a P.G. in psychology. Nina has been associated with the Oberoi group for around 28 years where she handled different portfolios ranging from selling banquets to Manpower Planning at the corporate level. She has delivered training in almost every hotel of Oberoi ranging from Sri Lanka to Cairo, and Customer Services being her forte.
Her life experiences include attending Summer Hotel School at Cornell University in the USA. She has represented her company at an ILO Conference in Geneva and has been on the take-over team for the very prestigious Al-Rashid Hotel managed by the Oberois in Iraq. Very involved in training and development of people, she has participated as a guest lecturer for various organizations. Career counseling for school children is another area of active interest, she was on the Times Of India team of career counselors. Her publications include a delightfully illustrated “comic” book entitled “How to Win Friends and Increase Sales”. She also writes “Good Advice” coloumn for the monthly issue of the “Good Housekeeping” magazine.
