She is an alumnus of the Institute of Hotel Management Catering and Nutrition, Pusa, New Delhi and The Oberoi Centre for Learning and Development, having nearly 20 years of experience in the Hospitality Industry. Her core competencies are Housekeeping Management which includes Uniform and Linen operations, laundry operations, Interior management, thematic decorations and set ups, etc.
After handling Housekeeping operations of many prestigious groups such as Oberoi's, Hyatt, The Leela and The Grand Group, she now aspires to be involved in standardizing and streamlining operations in units, utilizing her years of experience in her role with Upgrade. The Leela Goa situated on 75 acres of land & managed by GHM was awarded the "Imperial Mark", one of the highest awards for excellence in service, during her tenure as Executive Housekeeper from November, 2002 till June, 2005.
Her focus area was highlighting major maintenance problems in rooms & resolving them. She joined Intercontinental The Grand, New Delhi in July 2005 as their Executive Housekeeper and was with them till November 2007.
